Private Practice

Since 2001, I have felt honored to co-create meaningful therapeutic relationships with individuals, couples and families in a Houston private practice setting. With more than 20 years of experience and training in the mental health field, I have worked empathically within a broad range of areas including grief and loss, parenting and relational issues, depression and anxiety. My areas of specialty and expertise include LGBTQ and Eating related issues. I enjoy working with Preteens, Adolescents and Adults. I am a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) and facilitated an Overcoming Overeating Group for adult women with emotional overeating and body image issues for over 20 years. As an LCSW Supervisor in the State of Texas, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with many LMSW's seeking LCSW designation.

As an active member of the International Association for Psychoanalytic Self Psychology (IAPSP), I practice Self Psychology, a relational empathic approach promoting personal healing and growth at all stages of life.
