Private Practice
Linda Chase, LCSW, is a Psychotherapist and has maintained a private practice in Houston, Texas, since 2001. With more than 12 years experience and training in the mental health field, Ms Chase works within a broad range of areas including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parenting and relationship issues. Her areas of specialty and expertise are eating disorders, gay lesbian issues and PTSD and trauma. Ms Chase treats children, adolescents and adults, both males and females. Ms Chase is a Clinical Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, where she teaches and supervises clinical social work interns and fellows training through Baylor Psychiatry Clinic. Ms. Chase also serves as an Adjunct Clinical Instructor at Smith College School of Social Work and supervises Masters and PhD level students. Ms Chase currently serves as First Vice President, President-Elect, for Houston Group Psychotherapy Society.
Clinical Background and Training
Upon obtainining her Masters in Social Work from the University of Houston's Graduate School of Social Work, Ms Chase completed a Postgraduate Fellowship program in Clinical Social Work at the Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. In addition, she completed a two-year Fellowship program in the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic Institute's Postgraduate Studies in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with adults. Ms Chase also completed a two-year Fellowship position in the Postgraduate Studies in Pscyhodynamic Psychotherapy with children and adolescents. For two years, Ms Chase worked and trained in the Eating Disorders Program at Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

Ms Chase has made numerous presentations on various Eating Disorder related topics to colleagues, physicians, students, school counselors and nurses, mothers, college counselors, members of Houston Group Psychotherapy Society, Graduate School of Social Work and Clinical Social Work Interns and Fellows at Baylor Psychiatry Clinic.
